COVID-19 Boosters
Current guidance states that you can be invited to book your COVID-19 booster 5 months after your 2nd vaccine.
However, you should not have the vaccine until 6 months after the 2nd vaccine.
Boosters may be given at 5 months in certain circumstances only, including:
- In a care home setting to enable all residents to be vaccinated in the same session.
- Where it would be beneficial for a housebound patient to receive the vaccine at the same time as other treatment, eg. the influenza vaccine.
NHS England will send out the booster invitations. Please wait for your invite - everyone will receive a booster.
